Darby Felton has professional experience working with people and information technologies since
1996. During this time he has performed in various related roles, including web application and
software development, agile project management and consulting, systems design, administration
and analysis, instruction, and training. In 2003 he founded an independent consultancy named
Deftek to provide high-quality business solutions based in open source technologies. Darby holds
a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Missouri - Columbia, is
a Zend Certified Engineer (PHP 4, PHP 5, and Zend Framework), and is a member of the Zend
Framework Education Advisory Board.
Andries Seutens, Software Engineer
Andries Seutens is a veteran PHP and Zend Framework guru, Zend Certified Engineer, and member of
the Zend Framework Education Advisory Board. Andries has extensive experience in e-commerce,
content management systems, and custom web application development. A respected member of the
PHP community, he frequently participates in conferences and local group meetings, and has
